The Adsquare story
We may be an award winning global company but our origins were much more humble.
Tom, Sebastian and Fritz first met in 2011 whilst working for one of the leading mobile ad networks in Europe. It was a successful period in a fast growing and rapidly changing environment that resulted in a desire to create a new kind of company – one that was ready for the next chapter of technological progress.
The world was changing towards automation, transparency and data. Mobile and the unique location context that it provides, was set to explode and provide marketers with the opportunity for more relevant and efficient targeting.
Our vision is to become the global leading platform for marketers, who want to understand people, places and the interactions between them.

Fuelled by the belief that ad spend will follow eyes, Tom, Sebastian and Fritz launched Adsquare in 2012 in a one room office in the fast emerging tech hub of Berlin. The guys set about recruiting a team that would create an independent data marketplace for the free internet. Many long nights were spent before Adsquare unveiled its first product – a geo-contextual targeting product that worked via pre-bid DSP integrations.

A period of rapid expansion followed with the launch of the Paris office in 2015, followed by London, New York, Milan, Madrid, Singapore, and Hong Kong over the following years. Today, brands and their agencies embrace the insights that Adsquare is able to provide by aggregating and curating the world’s best spatial, audience and movement data and recognise Adsquare for what it has become: The leading location intelligence platform.
With a global team of over 100 passionate and knowledgeable people now in place, Tom, Sebastian and Fritz remain focused on helping their clients stay ahead of the game with new innovations and services in the pipeline.
